About This Print
This chrysanthemum was grown just a few miles away from Paul’s studio at a nearby flower farm. The fine detail of the petals look particularly striking in black and white and the stripped-back nature of the monochrome image, invites the viewer to study the intricacies and beauty of the humble chrysanthemum. The black and white botanical series Petalum, was exhibited at the Royal Horticultural Society Shades of Autumn Show in London, where the selection of works was awarded the Silver Grenfell Award.
